The Rock Café is our Sunday morning program for kids.  It begins at 9:15 am when families gather in the “Café” (located in the basement of the church) for a free breakfast followed by free time.  At 10:00 am the kids head upstairs to the sanctuary for church time, during which they are given a key role in leading worship (lighting candles, readings and singing).  After about fifteen minutes the kids head back downstairs for an interactive and engaging program designed just for them.  The Rock Café is run by a dedicated team of leaders, and it runs from mid-September to the end of May.

The Hart Nursery is our program for our littlest ones on Sunday morning.  Babies and toddlers aged 0-3 years are welcome to play, cuddle and enjoy a story or two in the nursery space located downstairs, while parents enjoy worship and reconnect with God.  Each Sunday the nursery is run by two trained and caring teens and an overseen by a Grandma who enjoy spending time with our little spirits.  The nursery is available from 9:30 am on Sunday morning until immediately after the service ends.

Cornerstone Kids Group is a program for kids ages 7-13.  We meet on Wednesdays from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm.  The program includes singing, games, and basic Bible teaching, as well as prizes, trips and special fun activities. Both boys and girls can belong to the group, and those older than 12 can help as assistant leaders.  Mallory Wionzek is our Sunday School Director and Peter Wionzek assists with music.

Selby Youth Group is a program for teens ages 13+.  We meet on Friday nights from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm.  Most Fridays we make dinner together in the church kitchen, we have a short devotional or teaching time and then lots of fun games.  The group regularly goes on outings to do things like rollerskating, lazer tag, trampoline park or whatever else seems like fun.  The Youth Group is directed by Tricia Cammaart and assisted by Rev. Mike Putnam.

Confirmation is a six-session program offered for young teens, teens and adults who are interested in taking the next step in their faith.  Confirmation classes provide a chance to explore the Christian faith, ask the tough questions and finally make a decision to be a follower of Jesus.  By participating in this program young people become full members of the congregation and thereby enjoy the benefits and responsibilities of full membership.  Confirmation programs are offered on an as-needed basis, so please ask Pastor Mike for details.
